About NAFFTKS
The Nursing Alliance for Fair Treatment of Kansas (NAFFTKS) is a grassroots, nonpartisan network of nurses, healthcare professionals, and advocates dedicated to reforming the Kansas State Board of Nursing (KSBN) and the Kansas Nurse Practice Act (KNPA).
The organization was formed in response to increasing reports of disproportionate discipline, lack of transparency, and unfair treatment of nurses by KSBN, particularly for administrative or clerical errors unrelated to patient care or safety.
NAFFTKS members, many of whom are active Kansas nurses, choose to remain anonymous due to documented instances of retaliation and intimidation from regulatory authorities. Advocacy efforts are coordinated through legal advisors, allied organizations, and online outreach.
